2014 Foot Traffic Indicates Future Sales

However, these percentages gathered last year are a huge indicator of this year’s winter foot traffic. This year has already proven to be better than the last for home sales and it is likely to show increased sales in the winter months as well.

However, sellers take note that the coldest months of the year will always pose challenges to selling your home. If you can sell before the holidays get into full swing it is better for your home and easier on your family. People needing to relocate or hoping to move before schools starts up again after the holidays will be ready to buy and quick to close. These are the buyers who will be looking now for a home. So even if these months are known to have different set of challenges than other seasons, it is not a lost cause by any means.
