Edgemoor is a tight-knit peaceful neighborhood in the city of Bellingham, Washington. It is made up of approximately eight hundred thirty households with a median household income of about eighty-four thousand dollars. It is located between Chuckanut Village and South Bellingham.
The neighborhood is part of the Edgemoor Neighborhood Association, a nonprofit group that works to keep the neighborhood safe and peaceful for residents. Situated close to downtown Bellingham and a short distance from Bellingham Amtrak Station and Alaska Marine Highway, Edgemoor is the perfect neighborhood to live for residents to not only live in a quaint protected neighborhood, but also be close enough to enjoy everything that Bellingham has to offer.

There are nearly twenty trails throughout the city where residents can walk, jog, or bike. One of the parks in the area, Elizabeth Park, hosts music concerts from a diverse selection of musician all throughout the summer.
For those who enjoy golfing, Bellingham has Lake Padden. Lake Padden has been rated by Golf Digest one of the best municipal courses in the state of Washington. It is an eighteen hole course carved from a second growth forest, and offers golf lessons, practice facility, snack bar with a big screen TV, and club rentals.
For those who love the water, Bellingham has The Ame Hanna Aquatic Center. The aquatic center is equipped with four swimming pools, a beach-entry instructional pool with one thirty-five foot water slide attached, a twenty-five yard lap pool, dive tank with one-meter spring board, and a hydrotherapy pool for people sixteen years of age and older.
The aquatic center also offers swim lessons and training course, deep water running, water aerobics, water child care, kayaking, preschool, and family and open swims.

Bellingham has an award winning education system, It offers a number of different schools in the district for students to attend. For those pursing higher education, Bellingham is home to two community colleges (Whatcom Community College and Bellingham Technical College), and Western Washington University.
